This refund policy applies to orders placed on thefunctionalmushroom.co. Last updated: May 2026.

60-day money-back guarantee

Not right for you after 60 days? No problem, it’s on us. If you’ve tried one of our supplements and you’re not feeling the benefit you hoped for, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we’ll refund your order. There’s nothing to send back — your word is enough. Email help@thefunctionalmushroom.co with your order number and we’ll take care of it.

Your statutory right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)

If you’re a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, without giving a reason.

The 14-day period starts the day after you (or someone you’ve nominated) takes physical possession of the goods.

How to cancel. Tell us clearly that you want to cancel before the 14 days are up. The simplest way is to email help@thefunctionalmushroom.co with your order number. You can also use our model cancellation form (below) — but you don’t have to. Any clear statement to us before the deadline is enough.

Returning the goods. Once you’ve told us you’re cancelling, send the goods back to us within 14 days. Cost of return postage is yours unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. The returns address is: The Functional Mushroom Company Limited, 8–10 Queen Street, Seaton, Devon EX12 2NY, United Kingdom.

Refunds. We’ll refund the price you paid for the goods plus the standard outbound delivery charge (if any) within 14 days of either receiving the goods back or, if earlier, you giving us evidence you’ve sent them. If you chose a faster delivery option than our cheapest standard option, we only have to refund the cheapest standard delivery cost.

Diminished value. You can handle the goods to check what they are and how they work, as you would in a shop. If you handle them more than that — for example by opening sealed pouches, breaking the tamper seal, or using the product — we may reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in value. For sealed health supplements, opening the pouch breaks the hygiene seal and the goods can no longer be resold, so we will normally only refund the unopened items in this scenario.

Damaged or missing items

If anything arrives damaged, broken, or missing from your order, email help@thefunctionalmushroom.co with your order number and a photo. We’ll send a replacement or refund the affected item without needing a return.

International orders

Our 60-day guarantee applies worldwide. If you’re not happy with what you’ve received, contact us and we’ll refund you — there’s no need to ship anything back.

Refund timing

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. UK refunds typically appear within 3–5 working days. International refunds may take 5–10 working days depending on your bank.

You can pause, reschedule, or cancel any active subscription at any time from your customer portal. See our Cancellations policy for full details on subscription orders.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this refund policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
